From personal experience, we know how hard it can be to arrange the right support for someone you love. Families need care that feels personal and trustworthy, delivered by people who take time to build real relationships. We created Bonnie Care to provide exactly that for our community in and around the Stirling Council and Clackmannanshire Council area.
Bonnie Care began with something deeply personal – and a determination to solve the challenges that so many families face today.
For several years, Lewis’s dad has been receiving care at home for Parkinson’s and dementia. When his mum was tasked with arranging that care, Lewis saw first-hand how difficult it was to find a service she could trust – one that felt right for both of them.
At the same time, he got to know the carers providing that support. It became clear they didn’t dislike their work – they cared deeply about their clients – but they were stretched thin. Long travel times between visits, little opportunity to build meaningful relationships, poor work-life balance, and pay that didn’t reflect the value of what they do. Many were exhausted, and it showed not through lack of effort, but lack of support.
It struck Lewis that two problems kept repeating: families struggling to secure consistent, high-quality care – and carers struggling to stay in a system that undervalued them. With demand for care only rising, he knew there had to be a better way.
Combining his background in recruitment with a belief that when carers are properly supported, they deliver exceptional care in return, Lewis set out to make a change. Partnering with his brother-in-law, Daniel – who brings over a decade of hands-on healthcare experience – they created Bonnie Care to do things differently.
A family-rooted, carers-first care provider, Bonnie Care was founded to serve the Stirling Council and Clackmannanshire Council community with warmth, respect, and integrity – ensuring that both clients and carers feel genuinely cared for.
Local people, shared values and one mission to make care personal, consistent and trusted.

Lewis co-founded Bonnie Care with Daniel to create a service that families can depend on and carers are proud to be part of. A graduate of Strathclyde Business School, Lewis built his early career in recruitment and business development before turning his focus toward care - inspired by his own family’s experience arranging support for loved ones. Having grown up and lived in Dunblane, he understands the value of community and connection.
Lewis ensures Bonnie Care runs with strong values, clear communication and a personal approach that families can trust.

Daniel began his career as a support worker before qualifying as an occupational therapist. He has worked across mental health, orthopaedics and community care, helping people overcome challenges to stay independent and active. His experience shapes Bonnie Care’s approach - practical, compassionate and focused on what matters most to each person.
Daniel leads operations and training, ensuring our carers grow with confidence and every family feels supported.
