Housing Support

Independence is about more than personal care. Housing support helps with the practical side of living well at home – shopping, appointments, managing bills, staying connected to your community. It’s about supporting the life you want to live in your own space, with support that’s there when you need it.

What housing support covers

  • Shopping and prescription collection
  • Escort to GP appointments, hospital and health services
  • Community activities and social outings
  • Paperwork, letters and admin support
  • Bill management and budgeting help
  • Light household tasks and safety checks
  • Supporting social connections and community involvement
  • Accessing services and managing healthcare

Who it's for

Housing support suits people who are managing fine on their own but could use help with specific tasks. That might be older adults who find it harder to get out, people with learning disabilities who benefit from supported community access, anyone recovering from illness, or people who could thrive with practical help keeping daily life running smoothly. We’re Care Inspectorate registered as a Housing Support service (CS2025000455) – so you know you’re getting properly regulated support.

It's about support, not takeover

We don’t step in and take over. We work alongside you, doing what’s needed and stepping right back where you’re managing well. Your personalised care plan, held in our digital care planning system, is yours – not something imposed on you. Whether that’s a few hours a week or more regular support, we build it around what makes sense for your independence.

Local support in your community

Housing support works best when carers know the area – the local shops, the routes, the community groups and services. We’re based locally in Stirling and we know our communities well. That means when we help you access services, we’re not looking things up in a manual – we know how things work locally, and we can give you real advice and support.
